Dear Neighbors,
Wondering what those orange bags are that are tied to your recycling containers?
They were placed there by the county employees to encourage everyone to make a donation to the food bank.  Supplies run very short in the summer.  We are all able to help if we each donate just a few cans of soup, vegetables, beans, or any kind of canned goods.  Pasta and rice are welcome too.  Use your imagination and open your hearts to those less fortunate.  Directions are on the bags and the recyclers will pick up donations on their routes.  What could be easier?
Go shopping or empty your pantry of things you won’t need.  Together we can all make a difference.  The drive will continue though out the month of June.
