In 2003 the Policy Resolutions regarding Dryer Duct Cleaning and Fireplace Chimney Inspections were amended, requiring that all dryer vents must be cleaned, and fireplace chimneys inspected every two years starting in 2003. All units must comply with these requirements as a safety precaution to prevent fires or condensation damage.
You may choose one of the qualified and insured contractors listed below, or choose your own licensed, qualified and insured contractor. Dryer Cleaning and inspections for wood burning Fireplaces are done from the interior of the unit, and early scheduling is advised. All payments for contracted work are the sole responsibility of the homeowner. A copy of the receipts or reports must be submitted to the Association.
Confirmation of dryer cleaning, and wood burning fireplace inspection must be received at Taylor Management no later than September 30, 2013. Any homeowner not in compliance may be subject to a $10.00 per day penalty per component: $10.00 for dryer AND $10.00 per day for chimney, until verification has been received. Please be advised that fines are levied for non-receipt of the report by September 30, 2013 NOT the date it was done.
